On March 7, 2024, Plenitude, part of the Eni group, attended the 10th Conference on Mining and Energy in Cantabria. They presented an overview of the company and detailed European projects related to energy transition, highlighting funding programmes like the EU Life programme. The presentation included Project REPowerE(d)U, focusing on continuous training in energy storage and intelligent energy solutions.
The BungEES project was also discussed, aiming to create new smart energy services and integrate various solutions like heat pumps, energy storage, and electric vehicle charging. The FlexiSmart Home concept was showcased, demonstrating energy self-consumption and load management.
A survey of over 600 Plenitude customers was presented, revealing familiarity with terms like "prosumer" and interest in the FlexiSmart Home concept. The presentation concluded with details on pilot tests in Spain, Portugal, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic.
