The Smart Energy Cluster was featured in the latest episode of the EU Energy Projects Podcast by Enlit Europe, highlighting the importance of collaboration among EU-funded projects and initiatives.
In this episode, Areti Ntaradimou spoke with Vasilis Kotrogiannis, representing the Smart Energy Cluster, about the role of clusters in helping EU-funded projects cooperate more effectively, share results, identify synergies, and avoid working in isolation.
The discussion focused on why collaboration remains essential in EU projects, especially in the fields of energy efficiency, smart energy services, digitalisation, flexibility, and innovative business models. Through the Smart Energy Cluster, more than 50 EU-funded projects are already connected, creating opportunities for joint dissemination, knowledge exchange, technical collaboration, and stronger collective impact.
The Smart Energy Cluster is managed under DSS Lab, EPU-NTUA, together with the Institute for European Energy and Climate Policy Foundation (IEECP), and continues to grow as a collaborative community supporting the visibility and exploitation of EU-funded project results.
