The 2nd Smart Energy Cluster Annual Summit was successfully held on Tuesday, 7 July 2026, from 13:30 to 14:30 EEST, on the Island of Rhodes, Greece.
The Summit took place as part of the 17th International Conference on Information, Intelligence, Systems and Applications, IISA 2026, within the 6th International Workshop on AI & Data Analytics in the Energy Sector, featuring the #SmartEnergyCluster.
The event brought together representatives from the Cluster projects STUNNED, SMARTeeSTORY, AI-EFFECT, ENPOWER, REN+HOMES, and PVSmile to exchange knowledge, present project developments, and explore opportunities for further collaboration.
Discussions focused on the role of smart buildings, AI-driven energy services, digital twins, energy communities, and citizen empowerment in accelerating Europe’s transition towards a more sustainable, flexible, and efficient energy system.
The Summit provided an important opportunity for the participating projects to share their approaches, identify synergies, and strengthen cooperation across the Smart Energy Cluster. The successful event highlighted the value of coordinated research and innovation in developing practical, intelligent, and citizen-centred solutions for Europe’s energy transition.
